Eclipse RSPS, a free custom RuneScape private server, opens on Friday 30 October 2026 at 18:00 UTC. Everyone starts on the same day with a brand new economy, so the first hours matter. Here is how to be ready.

Before launch
- Install the launcher now. Follow How to download and play Eclipse RSPS so you are not downloading anything while everyone else is logging in.
- Join the Discord. The Eclipse Discord is where the team posts launch news, events and giveaways first.
- Pick your name. Names go fast on a fresh server. Have a first choice and a backup ready.
- Plan your first hour. Decide whether you are heading for combat, slayer or skilling first. Skillers supply what everyone else needs, and on a new economy the first materials sell well.
At 18:00 UTC
- Open The Realm launcher and select Eclipse.
- Press Play. The launcher fetches the game client for you.
- Create your account with a strong password you do not use anywhere else, choose your game mode and step into the eclipse.
If anything goes wrong in the first minutes, check the Discord before retrying: that is where the team posts live status.
Your first day
- Vote straight away. Vote from the Vote page every 12 hours and type
::claimin game for your rewards. - Watch the hiscores. Every board on the Eclipse hiscores starts empty on launch day.
- Report bugs. A new world always has rough edges. Tell us on the Report a bug page.
Stay safe
- Staff will never ask for your password.
- Only download the launcher from eclipsersps.com, the official Realm launcher link or the Eclipse Discord.
- Store purchases are only made through the Eclipse store.
